Oxfordshire Business Awards

     

Fired Earth has again been recognized by the Oxfordshire Business Awards, being finalists in two categories – the Waste Sustainability Award and the Champion Recruitment Customer & Staff Care Award.

The nomination in the Waste Sustainability Award reflects a company-wide commitment to care for the environment wherever possible. Not only has Fired Earth exceeded ambitious recycling targets, but it has brought in a host of new green measures. These include the introduction of eco-friendly packaging into the warehouse and delivery drivers being urged to bring back packaging from customers and Fired Earth shops to reduce wastage. The latest nomination reflects an ongoing commitment to the environment.

The judging panel appointed Fired Earth as finalists in recognition of its efforts to improve resource efficiency, reduce energy wastage and its commitment to introducing innovative means of improving corporate sustainability.

Fired Earth is well known for its excellent customer service and the company runs a number of design and installations services across most of its product range.

Fired Earth has been working hard over recent years setting the right company ethos to provide excellent customer and staff care; this includes embedding many customer service initiatives and a well-refined customer query system. Through consistent training and monitoring of its benchmarks Fired Earth continues to achieve a high standard of customer service.

The awards ceremony was held on 18th June at the Oxford Thames Four Pillars Hotel in Sandford on Thames.
