How do I choose my paint finish?

Paint can be used almost anywhere, but there are a multitude of finishes that require careful consideration.

At Fired Earth we offer three finishes in a variety of carefully curated colours to suit any project.

Matt Emulsion is a great option for surfaces that have low wear and tear. The matt finish visually smooths over walls that might be less than ideal, helping to hide small imperfections.

Eggshell is a durable finish with a slight sheen that holds up well in more hostile areas. This is the preferred finish for kitchens, bathrooms, hallways and woodwork. If painting on a metal surface use Eggshell with Fired Earth Primer. 

Exterior Masonry provides a hardwearing smooth finish and protects against extreme weather conditions. All our paints provide exceptional coverage, are practical, hardwearing and virtually odourless.
