Bathroom Splashback Tiles
A good splashback does more than protect your walls. It grounds the room, giving it depth and a sense of completion. Whether you're refreshing a family bathroom or starting from scratch, it's often what makes a space feel considered.
We source our bathroom splashback tiles from artisan makers and specialist producers who understand material integrity. From handmade ceramics with gentle surface variation to stone-effect porcelain, we choose each tile for the way it lives in a room: the light it holds, the texture it brings, the way it sits alongside other materials.

Frequently Asked Questions
The best splashback tiles for a bathroom are glazed ceramic or porcelain: water-resistant, durable and easy to clean. In areas exposed to high levels of moisture, select a porcelain tile that is appropriately rated for the intended use and conditions such as shower walls or wet room floors.
Ceramic and porcelain bathroom splashback tiles are water-resistant, but most standard grout isn't fully waterproof. Cement-based grout is porous and you'll need to seal it periodically for lasting protection. In high-moisture areas, porcelain with a low water absorption rating is the most reliable choice.
The right size is largely down to the proportions of your space. Smaller formats add texture in compact bathrooms. Larger tiles give a cleaner, more open feel. Grout line width shapes the finished result too.
The number you need is easy to work out. Measure the width and height of your splashback in metres, multiply the two figures together to get the square meterage, then add 10 to 15% for cuts and waste. Our team are happy to check your figures.
Most bathroom splashback tiles are easy to look after. A damp cloth and mild detergent do the job for glazed ceramic and porcelain. Unsealed natural stone needs more regular care. Avoid abrasive cleaners on any tile.
