Large bathroom tiles are generally 60x60cm or above. Extra large bathroom tiles start from around 80x80cm. 30x60cm formats are also widely used as large tiles for bathrooms.
Large tiles are well suited to smaller bathrooms. Fewer grout lines make the surface feel more open, and applying the same tile to floors and walls works well in compact spaces.
Large bathroom tiles are more demanding to fit. We'd always recommend a professional tiler and a perfectly flat surface. Get advice before you order extra large bathroom tiles.
A matt or lightly textured finish is best for large bathroom floor tiles as it offers better grip when wet. Polished finishes suit walls, where they catch the light well.
