Reflecting the Goa region’s Portuguese heritage, exemplified by the area’s tropical spice plantations and its preserved 17th-century churches, this patterned tile design incorporates quatrefoils of painterly foliage framed with a decorative leaf border. Nina took inspiration from a velvet strip within her archive, resulting in a blue/chocolate two-colour combination synonymous with her signature fabric and wallpaper hues.
