White porcelain tiles are a strong choice for floors. Porcelain is dense, resistant to water and built for daily use. Always check the tile suitability for wet areas, and make sure the tile carries a floor use rating before you order.
The difference is how each handles light. Gloss reflects it back into the room, which works well in darker or more compact spaces. Matt absorbs it, giving the room a softer, quieter feel. If you have good natural light, matt often works best.
