What are contemporary tiles?

Contemporary tiles are tiles with clean lines, minimal pattern and a modern material palette. They suit homes that want a fresh look without losing warmth.

Are contemporary floor tiles suitable for underfloor heating?

Most contemporary floor tiles work well with underfloor heating, particularly porcelain, because they conduct heat efficiently. Check the specification before you install.

What is the difference between contemporary and modern tiles?

Modern and contemporary tiles are often used to mean the same thing: current, clean lined designs with neutral palettes. Mid century modern is different, a retro style built on bold colour and geometric shapes like hexagons.

Are contemporary wall tiles easy to clean?

Glazed and porcelain wall tiles wipe down easily and resist staining, which makes them easy to live with. A damp cloth is often all you need.

What sizes do contemporary tiles come in?

Contemporary tiles come in sizes from compact metro shapes to large format slabs. Bigger formats suit open plan rooms, smaller ones suit a feature wall.
